Mr. Gibson often officiafes games, keeps the roam- ers out of the halls, and schedules the games. The Knicks and Celts are tied for lst place. As of now, the leading scor- ers are Dan Gross, 138g John Baker, 135g Rich Sharick, l3l g and Tom El- more, 130. The teams played seriously, except for Scott Pykare's men who were the NBA comedians. Sore muscles and tired feet paid off for the runners of CHS in their latest track season. Last year was the first for metric track meets. Our track is one of the few set up for the new met- ric events. For this reason, we set ALL of the running event records. Just three wild and crazy guys taking a breather during track practice. Not as many girls participate in NBA as the boys. But for those who do play, there is never a dull moment. Every other minutes a thump can be heard, and then giggles, or a few other choice words. The league consists of 4 teams. In the tight for lst place are the teams of Julie Karenke, Val Cambell, and Renee Thomas. Cindy Sawayda's team is hanging in there.
