Sore muscles and tired feet paid off for the runners of CHS in their latest track season. Last year was the first for metric track meets. Our track is one of the few set up for the new met- ric events. For this reason, we set ALL of the running event records. Just three wild and crazy guys taking a breather during track practice. The new netter, Basil Polivka, proved to be an outstanding addition. Randy Ford was second in command, with John Krafcik and Kevin Cordner as the doubles team. :,g,gf.1f1fr,fnfw 4 Q A 130115 ' .7V.l6'.v4 The boys, basketball intermurals are played on Saturday mornings. ln all, 12 teams are active in making the intermural games last all day, from 12:30 to 5 pm. lntermural competi- tion is organized by Mr. John Gibson, who begins the games after the foot- ball season is completed. Mr. Gibson often officiafes games, keeps the roam- ers out of the halls, and schedules the games. The Knicks and Celts are tied for lst place. As of now, the leading scor- ers are Dan Gross, 138g John Baker, 135g Rich Sharick, l3l g and Tom El- more, 130. The teams played seriously, except for Scott Pykare's men who were the NBA comedians.
