In this beautiful and attractive 1959 Volurne of our CRIMSON AND GOLD you have pictorially captured the highlights of your senior yearg you have edi- torially unified these highlights. Your element of unity, THE WHOLE MAN, strikes a clarion note that should echo and re-echo throughout your lives in whatever vocation Almighty God in His Omniscient Wisdom and Goodness directs you. THE WHOLE MAN allows for no fallow areasg it includes the moral, the intellectual, the physical, and the social life of man. The training and development of each of these aspects of your life has received careful atten- tion in the four-year program of Marianist education offered at Chaminade. Proper balance and a true sense of 'values have guided us in maintaining this program. Dedication to principle has sustained your Marianist teachers and their lay co-workers in the execution of the program. Loyalty to directives has inspired you and your devoted sacrificing parents in the acceptance of the program. What permanent and eternal effectiveness your Marianist education at Chaminade will have depends, in the final analysis, on you alone. You are only at the beginning of your educational experiences that can lead to genuine wisdorng there is still much to be done. BRO. LOUIS J. NATH. S.M., M.A. Vice-Principal Bro. Louis Nath, S.M., our Dean of Dis- cipline, is one of the busiest members of the faculty here at Chaminade, l-le is moderator of the Chaminade Mothers and Fathers clubs, and successfully organizes and supervises all the school raffles. Brother is also a general chairman for various activities. Both before and after classes Brother has a long line of students outside his office for tardy and ab- sentee excuses, gym excuses, and detentions. Bro.
