DEDICATIUN A short time after the start of the present school year, the whole world suffered a greatloss with the passing of His Holiness, Pope Pius Xll. Often we heard the accomplishments of his life praised and awed by the leaders of our contemporary world. He was . . a leader of leaders. This great ability, which was so highly publicized, was the result of the de- velopment of all the phases of the Popes personality. His spiritual, intel- lectual, moral, aesthetical, social and physical talents were trained and used in an ideal manner. Few persons in history can rival our late Pontiff's highly developed character. ln his death we lost an exemplar of THE WHOLE MAN. For by his very nature, His Holiness was the living result of a life trained for the use of all the talents God bestowed upon him, To his memory and to his ideals we dedicate the l959 CRIMSON AND GOLD.
