Ours was the privilege through the four years of our Prelude to associate with the Marianist Brothers and the laymen who made up the faculty. We witnessed zealous teach- ing and inspiring example. Each correction of homework, or quiz, or exam was like the testing of every note that went into our Pre- lude. For such tedious yet cheerful attention to duty, nothing but the sincerest gratitude is fitting, and that we offer with all our hearts. May the melody they have helped so well to fashion always sound true to them. ln this year also, the Society of Mary opens up its second century of service in the work of education in the United States.
