All music is chosen with careful consideration for the development and appreciation of the finest in musical art. Both classical and modern compositions are studied with complete thoroughness as to interpretation, expression, phrasing, and enunciation. The club membership is limited to eighty voices selected from the upper classes. Re- hearsals are held during activities period on Tuesday and Thursday. In addition to presenting a Christmas concert and a spring concert, this organization appears in many community-sponsored programs through- out the school year. From the Glee Club is chosen a Special Clrnrm of twenty-four select voices. This organization pro- vides musical entertainment for school assemblies, service clubs, churches, and radio broadcasts. The Frerlmzfzu Clvnrzu is a group of freshman boys and girls interested in furthering their knowledge of vocal music and in attaining efificiency in part singing.
