Carlisle . . . .. Gettysburg . . . Shippensburg October 29-On Biddle Field, in Carlisle, the Rinesmen tasted their one defeat of the season, as the Green Tide upset them 12-6 in a real thriller. On passes, Carlisle scored twice, while XVilliams ran 75 yards for the C. H. S. score. November 5'-Re-entering the f'win columnn, the Trojans splashed out a 16-0 victory over Hanover on a mud-coated Hen- ninger Field. Boles and Burkholder scored. November 11-Before -1,000 enthusiastic fans the Rines- men shut out a Mechanicsburg High eleven to the tune of 20-0. It was the first time in nineteen years that a local team con- quered the Maroon and Steel. November 19-By a 6-0 margin the Trojans took over Hershey High i11 the second mud-battle for the locals. In the third period, Burkholder raced 04 yards for the lone tally. The victory put C. H. S. on top in the conference standing. November 24-Closing a very successful season with a victory. the locals outclassed Shippensburg in turning i11 a 19-0 score. The game was played in several inches of snow, and clinched the C. H. Several undergraduate members ol' this season's squad gave promise of developing a fine team next year.
