WHAT WE VE DONE In 1956 the present members of the Junior class were Freshmen wrth Mrss Moyer and Mrss Hoover as advisors The brg event of our frrst year of htgh school was bemg rmttated by the Sophomores Followtng rnttratton the Sophomores held a dance rn our honor and a month later we gave a return dance for them During our Sophomore year after much wartrng we got our class rmgs We also rnttrated the Freshmen Cwhat fun 'J and put on The Bow Bop the ntght of tmtiatton Our advrsors that year were Mrs Roach and Miss Hoover In order to earn money for our Jumor Prom and Semor trrp we sponsored a car wash and sold Chrrstmas cooktes as we had done the year before We also held the last dance of the year The Last Fling Srnce rt was on the last day of school tt was the most successful dance our class had grven welcome everyone back from summer vacatron we sponsored a dance a week before school started It was a lot of fun and helped everyone get back tn the swmg of thrngs and ready to move rnto the new school In the fall we held the annual Homecomrng Dance and helped wrth half trme ceremonres durtng the Home comxng Game One of the brggest events of the year was getttng our brrght red class Jackets Over half the class bought them and we wear them everywhere In the sprrng we presented The Jumor Folltes of 59 under the drrectron of Mrss Hoover and Mr Conley Thrs was a vartety show featuring talent from all grades It was given instead of a class play and everyone enjoyed puttrng rt on The Juntor Semor Prom sponsored by the Juntors was on May 8 A Swedtsh smorgasbord dtnner was served at the htgh school and then we went to the Twrn Lakes Country Club for danctng BY AUDREY PERCY COMPLIMENTS OF ACADIA FARMS Breeders of PS Troubadour Famed Shorthorn Steer 1956 Internattonal Grand Champion Over All Breeds Northfteld Ohro I Guided by Mrs. Roach, Miss Hoover, and Mr. Emmett, our Junior year has been our busiest by far.
