Athletes Eat The athletic banquet, sponsored by the Kiwanis, was held May 2. It was a pot luck supper and af- forded the school an opportunity to recognize the outstanding ath- letes in all areas of sports. 1. Mr. Haanen applauds the football award winners. 2. Jeremy Keiner captures the heart of the audience with his antics. 5. Robe bearers are Jeremy Keiner and Heather Wagner. Coronation festivities started off with the crowning of King Bobby Karlen and Queen Rita Knippling. The other senior royalty candidates were Lesa Turgeon, Trisha Geddes, Todd Priebe, and Jim Ketelhut. Tom Holland, a former football team captain, was the guest speaker. Enter- tainment was provided by Lori Fredrickson and Gina Koehn. Following the coronation ceremonies the king and queen pre- sided over the burning of the letters at the softball field. 2 3.
