Student Council Tackles Responsibilities L. Marsh, A. Renner, D. Schulte, J. Pickner, B. Raish, P. Lindley, P. Adams, D. Emme, J. Glaus, J. Chavez, M. Zeman, D. Vehle, J. Renner, G. Osborne, Advisor Howard Elrod. OFFICERS Allan Renner, vice president: Bonita Raish, secretary-treasurer; Jim Pickner, president. The 1969-70 CHS student council began their yearly activities under the leadership of Jim Pickner. Along with the City Commissioners, the student council sponsored a clean-up day. The town was divided into four sections, one for each class. Classes were dismissed in the afternoon for this project. Other projects carried out by the council were homecoming, the Christmas party, concessions at the district tournaments, a casual day, and the National Honor Society banquet. Due to conflicting dates, the Sadie Hawkins day was cancelled this year. The election of the student body president and the cheerleaders for the coming year brought the student council activities to an end.
