Barbara Jo Gowdy, our art editor, de- signed the cover this year. This marks the first year that such a feat has been accom- plished by a staff member. We, the staff of The Cub , wish to thank everyone who has in any way helped to make our annual a success. bear Ibiarq Another year gone by! It was certainly a memorable one for us here at CHS. The year began with 225 enrolled in the high school and we were privileged to make use of the new National Guard Armory for various classes. From our gay Home- coming festivities in October until our Commencement exercises in May, a whirl of activities has paraded by. We see 39 seniors leaving us and a host of underclass- men ready and determined to take their place. The pages of this book are bound together by the companionship and loyalty that each student feels toward the others as he proudly says, This is my school!
