ROBERT LHBROSSE Bobby is well-liked for his thoughtful and pleasant personality and has an excellent potential for what- ever he chooses to do. He is catcher on the baseball team that in '59 placed second in the state. EMILE LAMARQUE In his one year on the football team, Bubby has made his mark as a fullback and top ball carrier. Possessed of an amiable disposition, he is well- liked and does well in academic work. PHYLLIS LANCASHIRE To observe decorous, stately Phyllis in class you would never suspect her to be a chatterbox with scintillating wit. Full of fun, she loves to dance and be gay. She has an interest in nursing and likes to sew. CHARLES LONGBOTHAM A homeroom! a basket! a touchdown! Charlie's in there fighting! All round athlete, tenor in Chorus, and officer of Newman, Charles brings to all the qualities of enthusiasm and stability. PATRICIA LOPEZ Pat of the sweet smile and flawless complexion has the charm ing manners and gentle spirit of a true Southern lady. Voted Queen of Homecoming, Best Groomed, and Senior Class Secretary, she is also an able student. FAY LORENZ A good, dependable student, Fay's essential integrity and common sense have made her a valuable member of the Annual Stafif She has also belonged to Dra- matic Club and is a member of F.B. L.A. WAYNE LUMPKIN Wayne operates with the smoothness of his new Falcon, winning friends with his pleasant charm. He is liked by both boys and girls. Though full of fun, he has a serious side and is a good student. RONALD MARTIN Our drum major is a commanding figure in his plumed hat. This dignity he brings to any job. Beautiful green eyes? Definitely. Fun- loving? Without a doubt, Who is it? Why, it's Henry of course, the mischievous lad with the shy, charm ing smile. JOYCE HENDERSON This petite, vivacious blonde is active in many fields. She is a member of Little Colonels, Y. F.C. , and Owl staff, and had the lead in the Dramatic Club play. An exellent student, she was winner in the Security contest and attended State Rally. EUGENE HENO An avid outdoorsman, Eugene is associated with hunting and fishing. An interested sports observer, he can give the latest information on our teams at any time. His mild-mannered, jovial attitude has made him any friends. JAMES HOFFPAUIR This fine athlete is also a gentleman, dependable, unselfish and courteous--a true leader. An outstanding lineman in football, he won in '59 the Harold Weiss trophy. He stars as well in baseball and in basket- ball. MICHELE HOOVER Cheerleader for four years, former Most School Spirited and Homecoming Maid, Michele now holds the title of Most Popular. As proof that she is an all around girl, this merry girl is in J.A. , F,B.L,A., is an excellent swimmer, and is complete mistress of Lizzie, the car. TONI KLEIN Dependability characterizes Toni in any activity. She has been sports editor of the Owl, has played basketball, and does well in her studies. In her Sr. year she has been in J.A. and attended Rally in Home Ec. ROSALIE KRA US Her soft brown eyes and gentle smile bespeak the perfect lady. Good student, Rally entrant, speech contestant, J.A. member, old-timer in the Band, Rosalie can be counted on to represent us well and often. DARLENE KUCKENS A devotee of the art of Terpsichore, Darlene is an accomplished dancer, having completed a nine- year course. A member of Chorus, Newman, and F. I-LA., she has many friends.

That's our Sandra, her shining green eyes smiling Hel1o. Sensible, efficient, and dependable, she is an excellent typist and does well in Home Bc. CHARLTON MATTHEWS, JR. Buster, who always wears a smile, is a four-year member of the band, and plans to become a music director, As a Jr. he won an award in Shop and this year has been Vice-President of Key Club and a member of F.B. L.A. WA LT ER McCALL How could the Annual Staff have managed without the fine work of this painstaking artist? His manners mark the true gentleman. His never-failing courtesy and dependability make him a fine person to know. He is a member of Newman and F.B.L.A. SHARON MCDONALD What a pity we had to lose Sharon before the year's end to her native state of Texas. In her three years with us she made her mark as an excellent student, pleasant companion, and member of F.H.A.. F.B.L.A. , and Annual Staff. FLOYD MCKENZIE Here is a versatile fellow. He is a member of C Club, of Chorus, has been on Jr, Basketball Team, and has played football for three years, this year being an outstanding center, MARIA MEDINA Dark-eyed, smiling, soft-spoken Maria was this year voted Most School Spirited, and no wonder. A fine student, having won awards in Social Studies, she is in many clubs, often as officer, is Vice- President of F.B. L.A. , and was a maid in Home- coming. CAROL MONTELEONE Friendly Carol is a real athlete and all around girl. For three years she was on Softball Team and in Sophomore year won first place in relay. Former officer in homeroom, she is Vice President of Letterettes and a member of Newman. JUDY MORGAN Gracious and friendly, Judy is a capable, interest- ing person. An excellent student, she has been a Rally entrant, last year placing first in French reading. She is Secretary of Y.F.C,, C.H.S. Ideal Girl, runner-up for Miss Chalmette, and member of J. A.
