LUCILLE GUERRA A hearty laugh echoes down the hall, and Lucille, well known for her humor and friendly nature, appears. She has been a member of the Chorus and is an officer of F.l-I.A. DRUCILLA GUIDROZ A group of girls and a roar of laughter indicate the presence of Drucilla. Her sparkling brown eyes and quick smile betray her fun-loving nature, yet, she commands respect for her ability to get things done. LOIS GUILLOT Lois of the flashing smile has won lasting friendships with her gentle charm. Member of Dramatic Club, J.A., and Newman, she makes no display of her good qualities, yet they are indispensable. REBECCA GUNNELS Rebecca is a person of unusual personality. She has the most wonderful laugh. It is as if the world around her were full of happiness with no room for sadness. No one could mistake her in a crowd. She's the girl with the smile and the baton. FRANCES HAGLER Frances hails from The Old North State. A wealth of dusky hair, a generous smile, and a practical nature are her trademarks. Whether it's cake sale for The Owl or Scrapbook for F.B. L.A. , count on Frances to be a prime instigator. CAROLYN HAHNEBOHM Carolyn is an enthusiastic member of Newman Club, Pep Squad, and F.B. L.A. Say, can anyone remember the day her hair literally stood on end? She was a brave girl to be the guinea pig for the atom ic scientist. JOAN HEBERT Take Me Out to the Ball Game should be Joan's theme song, for this excellent athlete loves and plays a fine game of softball or volleyball. A live wire, this Letterette attends all games, and can be counted on to spark the team. JAMES HEFFKER Lover of hunting, fishing, and all outdoor sports, Jimmy has been an outstanding guard on the football squad. J I mm..i ' fin YW' si, .fa CARMEN GERHARDT Here's a person who doesn't know the meaning of defeat, No matter how difficult the problem, she won't quit until she conquers it. Witty, independent, pleasant, and sincere--that's Carmen, a brave defender of her beliefs. GEORGE GILLIGAN That tall blond is George, an athlete well-liked by all on the campus. A fast member of the basketball team, he made All Riverside in '59, A member of Student Council, Y. F.C. , and C Club, he adds much to school life. RICHARD GIRO Richard's quiet, shy demeanor, often interrupted by witty remarks, has won Chalmette's heart. He is a member of Junior Achievement and sings tenor in our barbership quartet. His high aims denote a person of character. FRANK GOODWIN Frank is well known for his friendliness around school. His good character and talent are equal, as many know. His ability in music, art, and mechanics is outstanding. PATRICIA GORDY Here, a mighty fine lass we see, showing confidence strength, and integrity. Patsy has participated in the Newman Club, Civics Club, F.B. L.A. , Chorus, Pep Squad, Volleyball, and J,A, DIANE GREEN Miss Chalmette, Miss F.B.L.A. and its president, yearbook editor, alternate ldeal Girl, and first place winner at Rally in Home Ec! What more can one say except that she has charm and good looks. WARREN GROOMER Warren is our Thespian. His flair for dramatics insures a good performance in every play. Home- room President for four years, President of Dramatic Club, Newman member, and good student, his ability is indicated. TERRY GRUNSKI The pen is mightier than the sword is true in reference to this cute co-ed's literary skills. With a nice turn of phrase she can whip up a newspaper article in short time. She will go far, armed with a pen and a smile.

Beautiful green eyes? Definitely. Fun- loving? Without a doubt, Who is it? Why, it's Henry of course, the mischievous lad with the shy, charm ing smile. JOYCE HENDERSON This petite, vivacious blonde is active in many fields. She is a member of Little Colonels, Y. F.C. , and Owl staff, and had the lead in the Dramatic Club play. An exellent student, she was winner in the Security contest and attended State Rally. EUGENE HENO An avid outdoorsman, Eugene is associated with hunting and fishing. An interested sports observer, he can give the latest information on our teams at any time. His mild-mannered, jovial attitude has made him any friends. JAMES HOFFPAUIR This fine athlete is also a gentleman, dependable, unselfish and courteous--a true leader. An outstanding lineman in football, he won in '59 the Harold Weiss trophy. He stars as well in baseball and in basket- ball. MICHELE HOOVER Cheerleader for four years, former Most School Spirited and Homecoming Maid, Michele now holds the title of Most Popular. As proof that she is an all around girl, this merry girl is in J.A. , F,B.L,A., is an excellent swimmer, and is complete mistress of Lizzie, the car. TONI KLEIN Dependability characterizes Toni in any activity. She has been sports editor of the Owl, has played basketball, and does well in her studies. In her Sr. year she has been in J.A. and attended Rally in Home Ec. ROSALIE KRA US Her soft brown eyes and gentle smile bespeak the perfect lady. Good student, Rally entrant, speech contestant, J.A. member, old-timer in the Band, Rosalie can be counted on to represent us well and often. DARLENE KUCKENS A devotee of the art of Terpsichore, Darlene is an accomplished dancer, having completed a nine- year course. A member of Chorus, Newman, and F. I-LA., she has many friends.
