PATRICIA ALLISON The sunlight of her hair radiates the warmth and sincerity of her nature. Pat scores not only as a friend but also as one of Chalmette's softball stars and an active member of the Lerterettes. FRANCES ASCHEBROCK Black, sparkling eyes reveal the power of under- standing for which Frances is noted. A meritorious scholar, award winner in many fields, rally entrant winning essayist, it is no wonder that she was chosen Most Intelligent Girl of 1960. JOE BARCELONA Energetic, fun-loving Joe is always laughing even when serious. He puts himself wholeheartedly into sports and his other interests. A speedy member of basketball and track teams, he is also an excellent swimmer and diver. ROBERT BEARD That genial fellow behind the candy bar has a well-mannered, pleasant smile for everyone. A lover of all sports, he can be counted on for 'school spirit to back the team. FERNAND BEAUCOUDRAY With a friendly laugh and the ding dong of his car bell this well-groomed, goodlooking, courteous fellow approaches. Often nominated for these titles, Ferdie is also a rally contestant, member of Student Council and of Chorus. ROBERTA BEGUE Though a newcomer, Bobby has made many friends. Not only the possessor of many essay medals for other years, she has won here the Voice of De- mocracy Contest and has been a strong contender in others. GERALD BOOS Here's the chap who gets your newspaper to the printer's and home again. Not only valuable on Owl Staff, Track Team, and in Chorus, Gerald's sense of humor also guarantees fun for any group FAY BOYLE Member of Newman Club and F.H.A. His love of music is evinced by his cornet lessons, and a further interest is mechanical drawing. His meticulous methods should prove valuable in the engineering career he plans. LINDA BROUSSE This quiet, pretty, poised lass hides beneath her gentle manner a great deal of courage and an indomitable will. Whenever a task is set before her, you can count on her to accomplish it. GLORIA BURAS Though small in stature, Gloria's fine qualities give her a generous height. She speaks her beliefs firmly and is willing to do her part, She loves to sew and is an active member of F. HA. CATHERINE BURNS Say it with music! This fits our Cathy well, for she has been a valuable member of the band since eighth grade. Besides this talent in music, she has a wonderful sense of humor and is fun to be with. TILLIE CAMPO A talented athlete, she excels in many fields. She can make a basket or pitch a curve ball. Versatility is the word. Secretary of Letterettes, Tillie has made her mark in sports. DIANE CANTRELL Click, click, Diane is typing, transcribing her own careful shorthand. What a loyal and friendly girl this typist is. She should go far toward becoming a valuable secretary. MARIE CARDERARA A level-headed, thinking person, her quiet attentive- ness marks her as an interested student. Member of Pep Squad, Newman Club, F.H.A., and F.B.L.A., Marie has taken an active part in campus life. MATTHEW CARDERARA Matteo's genial smile marks him as one easy to get along with. Summer finds him skimming along on skis behind a speedy boat. His choice of the Naval Reserves is a natural.
