On Sunday. September 19. me C.F.H.S. SENIOR women and junior girts took to the field for battle In the annual event known as the Jr.-Sr. Foot ball Game The senior women approached the battle field with a small but tough team, ready for a second victory, while me junior girls ap peared with a larger team and the attitude to defeat the seniors The game turned into one of me most exciting rivalries with only a few ml» nor Injuries on both sides The coaches, mostly varsity players themselves, matched their football skills, as did the cheerleaders with their half-time blitzes The final score was 21-6 In favor of me senior Bottom rigM The senior cheerleaders perform o death defying pyramid with Jeff Bryant lumping off the top to outdo the junior cheerleaders SENIORS 2-0 t Middle right Shelly Toth uses her speed to get around ARcia Burton who's Intent on grabbing her flog while another junior misses from behind Middle left The Junior cooches Bob Craig. Bob Hartman. Tim Pid Eric Gebter John Dishong. and Greg Nelson look pretty relaxed before the big game women, the highest scoring game so far In me school s history. SUMMER FUN Ken Koprowskl takes time out from his Olympic quest to catch the Pepsi spirit. John Moyse and Mark Easley showed their great canoeing skill In the Trl-athelon. Chagrin Falls High School students spent their summer In a variety of ways. A group of athletic-minded boys competed in a Trl-athelon These were Ken Koprowskl (biker). Charlie Bares (runner). Mark Easley and John Moyse (canoers). Most of the upperclassmen took on jobs or travelled to foreign places. Others enjoyed the life of partying, attend ing concerts at Blossom, or bumming around Chagrin. As summer came to an end. the hard work really began Band started practicing for the season, while the football, soccer, volleyball, and girl's boy’s cross country teams worked up a sweat In the hot summer sun.
