Founded in 1921 as the outgrowth of an idea proposed by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seymour, C.S.F. is a unique statewide honor organization which is an affiliate of the California Teachers Association, the Association of California School Administrators, and others. Membership is by application only, and is based on both the types of courses and grades of the preceding semester. Life members, who are automatically eligible for numerous scholarships, receive a gold pin, and their diplomas are stamped with a gold C.S.F. chapter seal. Advisors for the C.S.F. are Mrs.june Koyle and Mr. Fredjohnson. With high hopes and smiles, they started out their week excited and eager to leam. They knew that their hard work made it all worth- while when the Songlcaders brought back 19 blue ribbons, 12 red ribbons, and 1 white ribbon. They also received the Spirit Stick for one day.
