This party was just great and full of activities for all. Through the continuous efforts of the Senior Class Offi- cers. an addition to the student body walk was made possible. They planned the annual Senior Tea which was held in the Stu- dent Union Building and turned out to be a tremendous success. Many thanks are due to the Wonderful Senior Class Advis- ors, who have given much time and sincere effort towards mak- ing this year a memorable one for the Class of l958. Second Semester Working hard together, the second semester Senior Class Officers planned and discussed the Senior Play Day, the best ever. The Senior Pie Sale and Senior Assembly, which was held in May, were among some of the main activities planned by these officers to make this final year in high school one that will be remembered al- ways. 1 1 f 4- 5 l lim DesLauriers Vice President X x N i Iudy Dugan Secretary Barbara Vickers Treasurer - S1dona Adlusson Ioe Aleman Ioyce Alexander Rochelle Alford Mike Alvord Donna Anderson I lohf 2Nf'lJfnotA,Y hziwvkt Q Gary Anderson Iolene Anderson Ruth Anderson Shari Anderson Susan Apel Roger Armbruster Elsre Armendanz Margaret Atencio Iudy Bachman David Bailey Kenneth Baker Tom Baker Gary Baldmg Ioanne Bambach Barbara Ban lain Barclay Carolyn Barnard Bill Barnes Patricia Bass Lindalee Beal Bryan Beavor lames Bellot Brenda Benson Larry Bartholornae Richard Bergen Nancy Pat Berry Iames Best Roger Beyer Ruth Black Mike Blaker Daniele Bohrne Sharilynn Bohme Sarah Bolinger Patricia Borum Barbara Boss Donald Brcmnan Carol Boyce lohn Bradshaw lerry Brady Robert Brady f ,Q Y J Margie Briggs Iohn Brink Carolyn Brookshire Robert Brown Dale Briggs Carol Brown Doris Dean Brown Niki Brown sf Beverly Bryant Darla Bubier Anthony Buccheri Linda Bumstead MiCl1G0l BYYOY1 Gloria Burrow Ralph Buzzell Nebsy Bybee Dorothy Byer Dal-ene Byers Mike Byrne Alexander Carral Eric Cddd Iulia Calhoun Ruth Campbell ludith CCIYdiU fl: ix in X5 5 N5 2 x . t rw Q F x 519. xii' ,X ,Q wt , Marilyn Catte Mary Cercla Iudith Clark Nancy Clements Donna Colonna Mike Conway Robert Corn Maureen Couzins Gayle Cray-craft Wanda Daily Iudith Danielson Douglas Davis sms K A - Kathy Davis Susan Dean Dorothy DeAngelo Fay Dees lanet DGLOZIST Twyla De-Lozier lim l..esLaur1ers Suzanne DesLauriers Bonnie Dettwiler Bill Dickson Merilyn Dietrich Linda Dobbs S if Nancy Dona Richard Dorsett X E Angela Drake loyce Drewry S 5 x D S-lx mg, ra ,: Paul Dryden Iohn Dudgeon w , X S KY S X s N Q A X . Under the able lead- ership of their two class presidents, Bill lobe and Rich Crandall, the Class of '59 accomplished a great deal. To start off the year the luniors presented their class assembly. Centered around a Hal- loween theme, it was very humorous and entertaining. The final activity of the first semesters cabinet was the Christmas Formal. The theme, Winter Fantasy, was carried out magnificently in the decorations. To start off the second semester, the annual lunior Tea was presented on February 19, 1958. 'xTime Out For Ginger was chosen for their Iunior Class Play. lt was a delightful comedy which was enjoyed by all. To end the year's activities the luniors gave the annual lunior-Senior Prom. We have completed two years with two years remaining. Our anticipations of our Senior activities will soon be fulfilled, and all the joys and thrills of our journey will be memories. We can look back on our Sophomore year knowing that it was a highly successful one. Ken Warner, the first semester president, and Ron Mittino, second semester president, worked with a very capable cabinet to lead the Class of l96U in a most interesting year. Much of our success can be attributed to our counselors, Mrs. Koeker, Miss Weber, and Mr. Pieguet. With their help we participated in the election of officers, two pizza sales, the annual class assembly and tea, in addition to helping with Conservation Week. Many Sophomores have belonged to various clubs on campus. These organizations have become very popular among all the students and have played oi big part in our high school life. With two very exciting years left in high school, the student body says, Good luck, underclassmen. West Covina found this out as we steamfrollered them. West Covina's captain, Bill Bryant, fought long and hard for his team, and it was he who kept the game from be- coming a complete route, At the final gun, every Chaffey player had played, and Chaffey had chalked up her fourth win in as many starts in the league Chaffey and Pomona have been rivals for some 30 years, and no mat ter who is the favorite the underdog always puts up a good fight. So it was with this game. Pomona, although winless so far, was in fine form. The game was a wide open contest.
