, U Mwfaxr , The Fasti Do you know What the Word Fasti means and who gave us this name tor our yearbook? To many ot us it is just a name handed down through the years. Few know the real meaning and Where the Word originated. About thirty-six years ago, Mrs Lana Conger, a former Chattey teacher, gave the name ot Fasti to our yearbook. The Latin Language Was the source she turned to in choosing the name. The word Fasti has its derivation from a Latin verb meaning to speak. A great Latin poet once Wrote a iong poem called Fasti, Which Was a calen- dar ot events.
