Students, arms laden with books, ex- citedly talk of games and dates, class activities and tests, and pass on to their classes. Gradually the semester end nears there is a change of weather-ihe cool air hints that has come, Clouds form overhead as they darken, a light drizzle changes to a steady downpour. Raincoats and sweat' ers soon replace the light clothing of Fall, teen-agers with stringy hair and dripping coats trudge through the wet from building to building. But with hopes that Spring will again appear, students work on enthusiastically, the puddles dry, and with its colorful blossoms, bright foliage, and radiant sky re- veals Chaffey's lovely campus, alive with students clothed again in light cottons. But a year of work and play passes quickly, and the day for finals has come and gone. The Fasti's signed, farewells said, and more learned heads turn to summer and the future. Q.
