Franklin White, president and advisers, the Blakeslee ' s, of the MacDowell club whose members are the leaders in the musical field. LINES . . . CIRCLES . . . proportions . . . per- spectives . . . paint jars . . . brushes . . . with these, Lela McClelland and Charlotte Reed instruct potential artists in the fundamentals of applied art, drawing, design, and painting . . . though they are stowed away in the third floor of the high school building, they make their presence felt by the work turned out by their students in the form of posters calling attention to coming events . . . displaying the year ' s work at the spring art exhibit.
