Mogul Staff Red Peppers Glee Club The Senior Class, with twenty-four members, began the year under the leadership of Miss Dunn and Mrs. Ozee. Virginia Roney was the class queen candidate for the Cotton Carnival. The Class was made proud to the bursting point when Betty Burnett was chosen Halloween Queen. Georgia Smith was the candidate f o r Valentine Queen and won. It is an es- tablished custom that a Sen- ior girl be chosen Mogul Queen. Berta Lee Howard was successful in gaining this honor. The Class sailed through the year under the colors of blue and white and under the motto, Out of the quiet harbor; into the billowy sea. A skating party, the spon- soring of the Valentine Dance, a chili supper, the presentation of a Senior play, and a sandwich sale were enjoyable activities of ihe year. The Senior girls also won the girl's division of the intra- mural basketball game. -12 —
