The officers are: President, Ronald Huizenga, Vice-President, Tom Brown, Secretary, Juanita Adolph, Treasurer, Duane Shuman, Student Council members, Mary Margaret Prowant and Dick Kradle. 1 On October 5, we were initiated and everyone had fun. On November 2 we gave the Sophomore Return party. The Freshman class would like to thank Mr. Stotts and Mrs. Frey, our ad- visors, for all they have done for us this year. ROW 2: Judy Mertz., Randall Houzenga, Neil Henderson, Cynthia Whitney, Franklin Hubbard, James Pitts, Cheryl Ferris. ROW 3: Shirley Brightman, Nancy Branden- burg, Linda Hartman, Bill Rosenow, John Snodgrass, Merlyn Khaler, David Zumdahl. The Sophomore class of 1962-63 has Zl members with a slight majority of girls. There are many activities outside the regular curriculum in which the class is active. We have three students in the band and three boys out for bas- ketball. Sophomore girls also make up half of the Fresh-Soph Cheerleading squad. Then, of course, many Sophomores are in F.T.A. and F.H.A. Money raising projects sponsored by the Sophomore class included a Hobo Day, car wash, and selling stationery. We also had a very successful Freshman Initiation party during the begin- ning of the school year.
