' V1 H v ' 3 7 l ' 1 Y ' ' I 1 i . a w 1 a ' 17 16 emoz elm: pzopiecy X X June 1 1961 Deai D1ary Ks I make today 's entrv I think back ten long years to high school graduation Boy has the class of .17 changed this world' I read 1n the papers today that Paul Newendyke just set another speed record in h1S rocket Hoyt Holmes was nominated for the post of Democratic chalrman last fall Ile IS dolng quite well He has two full t1me secretaries Shirley Janssen and another glll fiom Scales 'Xlound The f1eld of IDUSIC has really boomed lately LOILIGI Blumer just gave her fourth piano concert at Carnegie Hall and B111 Y1ngl1ng IS now play mg h1s clarinet foi the fifth year the Boston Symphony Orchestra In the pop f1eld the Splatters composed of Ron GGISOH and Gordon Houzenga have sold their ten millionth copy of their latest h1t Mighty N1ce up He now owns and operates the largest blacksmith shop 1n the world Le Roy Handel has just bought fue more ' semis He owns the Handel Transport Lines and uses the motto You call we haul' In another industry farming we find that Lloyd Hartman is back on the farm and Elmer Rahn has a small 290 acre patch also I hear that Flmer announced a very happy occasion to be the other day He plans on getting ma1r1ed soon to some Pearl C1ty schoolteacher From farming we go to the J Bar I Ran h Jim has really got someth1ng here Just a few thousand head of top beef cattle and seventeen O11 wells Not much but enough to live on Jim says Franz Conod just won an Oscar for h1s cartoon of The Village Sm1tty one of the best 1nsp1rat1ons of Rear Xdm1ra1 Jerry Green also a prize winning poet Iwas downtown today and saw I sther and Marlene's new beauty shop Sure looks nice So d1d Thelma Kahler who was just coming out of the shop She's a nurse at the Chadwick Public Hospital I also saw Sharon Stein today She now owns and operates Ste1n's Food Mart 'ts I was crossing the street Iwas almost run over by Janice Doden She IS a stunt drner for an auto thr1ll show I had to make a trip to the cheese factory for some of that unusual Chadwick cheese stopped in a.nd sa1d hello to Beverly Queckborner and the new secretary whom I found to be XX 1lma I tnyre Supplying milk for the factory IS Xrvilla 51bley's head of Brown Swiss Her latest Cham pion won the grand prize at the Lnternatmnal Show 'ies this class has made many changes in this old earth and as long as they don't stop tht world from turn1ng here s hoping they make many more Roger Pottei lx 4 'YVN Q J - 9 1 ' e ' kb., uf lun V. -I Nm .,, h 0 Z S 7 ' l 1 ' ' 7 1' ' A ' V , I I . n , 1 If 1 ' ' v r ' I A . ..,.
