NEWS Continued On Oct. 23, the following officers attended the Section II Officers Banquet at Morrison: Al len Tripp. Allen Haag, Bill Spealman, and Wayne Linker. On Aug. 1. and Oct. 10, Mr. W.T. Bulkley discussed tree planting and arranged for a special tree planting project for Spring of 1952. This includes 4200 Red, White and Jack Pine Trees for field plantings, as special projects for George Yingling. Kenneth Imel, Virgil Handel, and Allen Haag. The following boys exhibited at the Section II Vocational Fair at Morrison: Allen Haag. Virgil Handel, Roy Post, Richard Janssen, Walter Nelson, Wayne Linker, Allen Tripp, Bil1Speal- man, Stanley Larem, Kenneth Imel, George Yingling. A total amount ofS171.28 in premiums were earned by these boys. On November 24. a group from Chadwick attended the International Livestock Exposition. The group included Ronald Daehler, Harold Andresen, Larry Miller, and Dale Engelkens. Allen and Leo showed cattle there. We were cooperating with the Wisconsin oAlumni Foundation for rat control in December. On February 14th. at the annual banquet of the Carroll County Livestock Feeders Association Allen Haag received a bred sow as a special award. At Christmas time we entertained our parents, Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Brett with a program. In the gym of the Chadwick School on Feb. 11, we presented another program to the student body of the highschool and grade school. We had five pupils emef the 5011 conservation poster contest. Three were awarded prizes. They were Michael Floen, 2nd, Steve Pauley, 3rd and Mervyn Daehler. 4th. We also entered several acts in the Home Talent Show at Mt. Carroll on April 4.
