JUNIOR CLASS lst row W Stewart, M Janssen, Mr Unzicker, L Frank, R Janssen 2nd row C Schriener, J Adolph, R Post, H Senneff, V Handle 3rd row W B own, G Williams, B Isenhart, H Gordon, B Olson Leroy Smith fabs ent I the beginning of tris year we could tell right away that it was going to be a lot different than our Sophomore year Mr Unzicker told us we had the play and prom to put over, e knew then our Junior year was not going to be easy The following class of lcers were ele ted Pres Lano Frank Tres Dick Janssen St, Coun 11 R p Donna Prowant Now on to the more important events of tke year Of course, number one was tre Prom le spent much of our time on it and if I may say so gave a pretty swell prom we tried sometring completely different this year, to raise the money we sold Christmas ards as usual We also had a bake sale took charge of a certain amount or basketball concessions, and of course presented tke Junior Play Our play fave us a nice little profit, which fattened our bankroll very nicely Our class worked quite hard on the play and in co operation with Mrs Bushman, presented it very well On befalf of the class, I would like to confratulate Mrs Bushman on the fine job she did, even though it was difficult at t mes Willis 15 O O I I I I I U O I O V 1 O O C U 0 At 1 F J I . JUNIOR CLASS PLAY The Junior Class Play 'Oh Brother' by Christopher Sergel was presented to a capacity crowd on the evening of April 14th This gay comedy related the story of a high school senior, Paul who was trying desperately to raise money so that he could afford to take his girl friend, Jane, our and treat her to more than just a coke KBanana splits and costly sundaes were her specialty J In Paul's attempt to earn the money honestly, he finds that one comic misadventure after another occurs to thwart him KEach of which seemingly is innocentl First, his younger brother, Junior, invades his photographic equipment and ruins the lens of a borrowed camera The owner, Mr Willoughby, and also unfortunately, his father's boss, 1sn't the least bit pleased with him When photography fails, he tries selling chicken feed But, once again, Junior tries to be helpful, only hindering him instead To the chicken feed, he added a mixture of D are killed and chances for Paul then looked pretty gloomy! Ir Jones, the father, shows his outrage at the escapades of his family, Mrs Jones tries to keep the family in hand, spending her greatest effort calming the enraged father Paul's sister Mary, seems to be on the 'in' with most his enter prise and loyally attempts to defend him when all else has failed Of course, all ends well! Paul's photography helps advertise Mr W1lloughby's hats The sales increase, and part of the profit goes to Paul He and Jane then can go off for a splurge at the local soda grill 16 D. T. The tragic result is that a great number of chickens
