The time is May 28, 1968; the place, the moon. As we focus our telescope to earth, the first thing we see is California, the Hollywood Bowl. We see an orchestra playing, what's this? Why Mary Ann Hawk, she's playing a flute solo. As we move upward in California, we see Jim Heidebrecht managing a Safeway store and what’s this? Look at that Cad with a dent in the side; seems as though he likes telephone poles. Still upward we come to Washington, and there In Seattle we see Rod and Glen's TV shop, looks like the shop is closed, but here come the owners on their motorcycles. Hold it! Watch out, Glen! Oh, looks like he added another Cadillac to his list. Moving our telescope to the east, we stop for a moment in Montana, where we see Kay and Bernard owning a big sheep ranch. What's this? Why she has a visitor. It's Betty Shumway, a traveling saleslady. She's trying to sell Kay a book on Child Care; it seems Kay has nine now. Well now, back at the old home town, Chadron, we see Patty. Seems as though she never got out of school. She is Dr. Kline's secretary. My goodness, what's that blue streak coming up the street. Oh, it's Bob Broberg, don't tell me he's still after Patty. What's this little spot to the edge of the telescope? Is that Oelrich's? No, it’s now called Rickenbach Land. He owns the town now. Oh, here comes the big Lover now. He's driving a Chrysler 300 Convertible with a load of girls; he's still playing the field. And back to Chadron again we see a parade, and at the front of it is the National Guard with Kenny Conner, Captain. And at the Larsen ranch we see Fayne Smith, only it’s Larsen now. Moving to the Black Hills we see - oh, wait, something is interfering. Lookout, Red! You're going to fall. Where is he? Why he's in a little world all of his own. Larry owns the Como's house. Looking into Lynda's house we see them eating like kings. But why shouldn't they? Butch owns the Piggly Wiggly now. Skipping over to Lincoln we see Verna, a gym instructor, at the University. And in Chicago we see a swanky night club, and who's that singing? Why, it’s our own little Sonja Hill. On Miami Beach we spy JoEUa taking a sunbath. Seems as though she hooked a millionaire and they now own the beach. As we move to New York, we see the Redfem Style Shop. Janet broke Larry away from the ranch and is doing very well. At Washington, D. C., we see Marilynne Redfem, secretary to the president of the U.S. A. I think that's Marilynne. Yes, I guess it is. And far away in Africa we hear the beat of the bongo drums and see a cloud of dust. At the head we see Clint making tracks for the tall timber. He was trying to catch a rhino and missed. He is a great animal capturer. They call him, Bring 'em back alive Cooper. It was fun to check on all of our classmates, but now we must say good-by until we check again in 1978.
