Class Prophecy The spotlight of '55 is now being moved up ten years to the spotlight of '65. As we flash it around we see Elaine Andrews riding around in a new red Cadillac. She just married a millionaire. Well! Now what do we see. it is Mr. Anstett. My! He surely has changed, that forestry must be hard on him. I hardly recognized him with that long beard and old pipe, but he is still reading hot rod magazines. Well! What's all of this noise? You might know it is Gary Clements and James Link sitting at a world series watching the Yankees and Dodgers play. They are still arguing which team has the best players. What is it we see now? Oh 1 It is Audrey. Look at all of those children standing around her. It's nice that she finally became an elementary teacher or are they her own kids? Wow! Who is this? I can't tell there are so many girls around. I think it is Vernon Cullers, but what is he doing? Oh! I see, he is singing. Boy! He surely is charming those girls. The spotlight is now on Betty Konrath as she is doing her one act bubble dance on Broadway. As the spotlight passes on, we see Frances Pace as a navy nurse taking care of the homesick sailors. To change our course a little, let's put the spotlight on Mr. Ray Scott. He is sitting in his living room telling his ten little kids how good an athlete he was in high school and how smart he was in classes. One of Ray's favorite pastimes is to go down to Joe Rimmer's pool hall. Joe owns and oper- ates eight pool tables. Oh! Who is this? I think it's Eddie, sure enough. It was hard to recognize him in that tuxedo at the piano and look at the candelabra. 1 hear he changed his name to Liberace the second. Look! There is Dolores. 1 see she got her job as a Home Ec teacher. Teaching her own children to sew. All five of the girls. Well! There is Joanne, I see she is not working in the Floral Shop any more. She owns it. The spotlight changes now to a well-known college where we see Mr. Wilson. He is the newly appointed president. Looking on down the professional field, we see Dave Roberts as a well-known artist. Girls are his main subject. The spotlight now moves to a small town where we see Mr. John Rook. He owns and oper- ates the daily newspaper there. The spotlight turns to our well-known comedian, Mr. Charles Snook. He has made quite a name for himself. He has some new and better jokes now. The spotlight is now on Miss Nona Hetrick. Yes, it is still Miss. She is still looking for a nice looking man with a new car and a lot of money. The spotlight now turns to the College Campus again. There we see Linda Neeland. She is housemother at the Men’s Dormitory. From what I hear she is making out pretty well. I think I have burned out the spotlight, so I guess we will have to wait and see how things really turn out.
