IN MEMORY OF Tim Mclnnis, son of Jerry and Jolene Mclnnis, was born August 10, 1957, in Alma, Nebraska. He attended schools in Republican City and Lincoln, Nebraska, in Mankato, Minnesota, and in Chadron, graduat- ing from Chadron High School in 1975. He was graduated as an architectural draftsman from Western Nebraska Technical College in Sidney in 1977. Since that time, he has worked for the Burlington North- ern Railroad. He was an ardent participant in sports, especially wrestling and running. Tim died in a highway accident south of Crawford on April 2, 1979. Eric Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Reid, was born on February 12,1957, in Garden City Kansas. Eric had been in drama at Chadron High as a graduating senior in 1975. He had been a member of the Student Coun- cil and National Honor Society. Eric was a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Eric died in an airplane crash on June 23,1978, about five miles northeast of Columbus Nebraska. 2

The Chadron High Annual Staff Dedicates This 1978-79 Annual To Four We Lost, but Whose Memories Live with Us. Steve Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Myers, was born on March 12, I960, at Portland, Oregon. Steve was Valedictorian of the Class of 1978 at Chadron High School and had earned a scholarship to the University. Steve had planned to major in pre-medicine at the Nebraska University—Lincoln. He also was an all-conference football player on the Chadron High team and was a starter on the basketball team. In addition, Steve had been a member of the Student Council and National Honor Society. Steve died in an airplane crash on June 23, 1978, about five miles northeast of Columbus, Nebraska. Martin McDonough, son of Jackie Barnes, was bom on September 15, 1962, in San Jose, California. Martin was a Freshman at Chadron High and was an active member in track and field and also football. Martin died in an auto accident on Highway 385 south of Chadron on March 24,1979. 3
