MR. MYERS, PRINCIPAL Time gives the impression of being a lasting, ever- present commodity. As we come to the close of another school year, we find that some more months have slipped from our grasp. It is our hope that the time has been well spent, that strong foundations have been laid, and that good super-structures will result. CORBIT, SUPERINTENDENT This has been another banner year for the Chadron City School System as the Middle School makes application to join the High School as approved members of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. Chadron High School has maintained continuous membership in NCA since 1918. This agency is an accrediting association for 19 states from West Virginia through the Great Lakes area, and on west to Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. The North Central Association has only recently estab- lished criteria for membership of junior high schools or middle schools, and membership on the part of a school marks that institution as one meeting very high standards of educational excellence. May the students of Chadron High School enjoy this book not only for this year, but for years to come! Elmer W. Corbit 8
