The Council passed a petition signed by a mariority of students stating that the homecoming ueen be elected from the senior class in the coming years and that the other classes woucld elect a re resentative from their class. The Council honored the Queen by decorating a float on which she rode in the parade. Betty Gross, Joyce Guy and Mariorie Conley attended the Champaign Student Council Convention at Hoopston High School. The annual State Convention held in Chicago was attended by Irene Crowe and Maralyn Eads. Student assemblies were presented by FHA, Lettermens Club and Student Council. I8
