Irving Nelson, filling lhe capacily ol loaslmasler, plundered his inexhauslable supply ol gags. An inspiring speech was given by Ray Eliol, well-known coach ol lhe lighling Illini. I-lis lheme, Il's lhe Menlal Allilude Thal Counls. was perlinenl and well broughl oul. Fourleen boys were awarded lellers lor lhe pasl loolball season. Mr. Nelson as- lounded lhe group wilh his bil ol poelry aboul Caplain Elmer Morgan: WHERE'S ELMER? Il opened up wilh a bang, And everybody yelled and sang To honor lhe I937 Fighling, loolball eleven.
