Minus lhe masculine louch ol lool- ball logs lhe leam appeared as well-dressed genllemen-bul hungry ones neverlheless. The German band conlribuled lheir bil during lulls in lhe program. Irving Nelson, filling lhe capacily ol loaslmasler, plundered his inexhauslable supply ol gags. An inspiring speech was given by Ray Eliol, well-known coach ol lhe lighling Illini. I-lis lheme, Il's lhe Menlal Allilude Thal Counls. was perlinenl and well broughl oul. Fourleen boys were awarded lellers lor lhe pasl loolball season.
