We Domeslic Damsels fhink if exfremely apropos fhaf courses such as Marriage as a Career and fhe Care and Feeding of l-lusbands have grown popular in our leading insfifufions of higher learning. Whaf has become good enough for fhe collegians has been good enough for us many a year now. So, along wifh fhem, we hope by cook or by crook fo reach perfecfion in fhe realm of fhe beanery and fhe seamery. This year has been a busy one. For us l-lomecoming meanf floaf, popcorn, and faffy apples: fhe ofher feafures faded info nofhing while we exerfed arfisfic and culinary efforfs. And our samples musf have pleased, for we were called upon fo concocf and serve a banquef for fhe Okaw Valley coaches and principals. To show our versafilify we spon- sored a sfyle show of lovely ladies and gorgeous gowns, presenfed fhrough fhe courfesy of Block and Kuhl's in Decafur. Our personal creafions would have done quife as well, buf modesfy forbade our using fhem for display. As fhe final splurge of fhe year we enferfained af fhe annual Mofher- Daughfer Banquef where simplicify of dress served fo offsef fhe elabo- rafeness of our hospifalify in bofh decorafion and cuisine. Now we can look back wifh amusemenf on such minor domesfic froubles as soapy grapes. Our blisfers have disappeared and our pricked fingers have healed.
