J. V.TENNIS he 1981 J.V. Tennis team ended their season with a record of 3-7. The team was a big improvement from last year. What can you say about the team except that they had a good time. Even though the team started out slow, there was much improvement. Outstanding players were Janelle Barns who was also their M.V.P., and 1 in singles, Lita Jacobs, 2 singles, and Cynthia Azar-con, 3 singles. 1. Lya Soegiharto. 2. Janelle Barns. 3. he Don X-Country team in 1981 was exceptional! Not only were they the best team in the school's history, they were all fine young men. After an undefeated preseason. the Don runners stayed out of the loss column until they faced the league champion Warren Bears, where they lost by a one point margin The Dons finished the season 7-2-1 overall. Next year, the Dons hope to take the championship. Robert Diaz was chosen MVP and Richard Pinarija was Most Improved. The team was lead by their captain. Lorenzo Tyner. 1.
