“Swing your partner... 99 nee again, students showed their country-western spirit when they attended the annual Sadie Hawkins Dance. The dance was held in our gym on March 20, 1982, from eight in the evening until twelve midnight. In an attempt to get the clubs on campus more involved, the A.S.B. Cabinet had the clubs help in the sponsoring and planning of the dance with the profits being split evenly between each club. Some of the clubs that helped sponsor and plan the dance were the Senior Womens Social Club who sponsored a Marriage Booth, the Math Club who ran a Dating Love Machine, the International Club which sponsored a Bounty Hunt and Jail, and C.S.F. provided the drinks for the dance. Photography was provided by Sanford Studios while music was played by the D.J. Fly By Night.” This years trend was for each couple to wear matching duds. In all, the Sadie Hawkins Dance proved to be a success for the Cabinet, the clubs, and for all those who were in attendance. 46 Activities Sadie Hawkins Dance
