SPIRIT OF C.H.S t was during the Homecoming Week of October 19-23 where once again Spirit Week broke through. Suddenly, our campus became a whirlwind of class competitions, crazy activities and preparations for the Homecoming on Friday. As usual, the awesome class of 82 dominated over the underclassmen to show their spirit for the pride of CHS. Monday was Clash Day , in which unmatched fashions were seen throughout the afternoon. At snack, football players were auctioned off to the highest bidder, with Mark Heatherton clinching the title with a bid of $21.00. During lunch a Rootbeer Chug was underway with Phil Defish chugging his way to victory, and Lillete Cubas and David Vaughn crushing the most cans in the Can Stomp. Flash and glamour were seen on Tuesday when the CHS campus was magically turned into Hollywood for Hollywood Day. Everywhere you looked you could see anything from agents and directors to Hollywood hookers and pimps. Sam Hatter won the Baby Bottle Sucking Contest during snack and a Homecoming Queen Auction was held during lunch with Ivette Fourzan getting the highest bid of $10.00. 32 Activities Spirit Week
