nding the 198 school year was definitely a sad occasion, but the seniors again broke through with many events that were unmatched from the years before. Senior Day and the Senior Luncheon were among those events. The Senior Luncheon was held the day before graduation and was organized by the PTSA. It was a time for eating dancing, and wondering where those four years went. As the color on this page comes to a close, it signifies that the 1982 school year has come to an end. Setting goals and breaking through them however, will never end — no CHS Don should ever stop BREAKING THROUGH. 270 Closing

Victor Costa Editor in Chief 1981 82 y third and final year of annual staff is over, and I think another year would have caused my demise, but I’m still alive and I'm glad those long hours paid off. This year we added an additional sixteen pages and more color pages making it the biggest and most colorful annual this school has ever seen. (I hope) We also took advantage of certain special effects along with improving and lengthening the writing. I hope it’s something future staffs will adopt. I d like to thank all the teachers who understood the life of an annual staff member and understood when they didn't come to class. And for the teachers who didn't understand — Oh well! We did it anyway. I personally would like to thank each staff member for their dedication. We spent the entire week after graduation eating, sleeping, and breathing annual, (while some of us were in Hawaii and San Diego — ha-ha) A few things I won't forget are the great times we had in the staff room, the before annual staff parties, the special people that were in them, and Foster's Donuts. I'd also like to especially thank Mr. Armstrong for making me editor of both the newspaper and the annual this year. He had faith in me and put up with my tantrums. He's been a great help to me throughout these four years and he's one teacher I won't forget. On a close, I'd like to just say, It's over, finally! And, as for next year’s staff, gag me with a grease pencil! 272 Closing
