New additions to administration dvisors played an important role in the advising of every student’s education. They advised and guided students in achieving their educational goals and interests. They helped students plan their high school curriculum for the following year and they also helped and advised seniors on important college decisions. The main goal that the advisors strived to break through with was to give to students the best education they can achieve and advise them in any way possible. The '82 year also marked the addition of three new advisors to the Cerritos campus, two of whom happen to be new assistant principals. They were Ruth Rabenberg, assistant principal in charge of counseling services, Leonard Rivera, assistant principal in charge of student guidance, and Faye Jackson, advisor and administrative assistant. In all, the '82 year consisted of seven advisors each assigned their own group of students to advise and answer the many questions students asked of them. 228 Faculty Ass't. Principals
