Choir sings a song erritos Choir sang more than just a song; they sang many songs. They participated in the Christmas concert, sold singing Christmas cards and went to the El Segundo Choir Festival. They also put on a Spring Concert in June. The Club officers Stephanie Baker, Ken Bradford, Judy Hammond, Leslie Sutow, and Steve Rodriquez, along with Mr. Bradford, their advisor, worked hard planning one of their fund raisers where they sold cheese for their new uniforms. The club also went on a trip to Disneyland. The CHS Choir was a very active club and was kept busy at these various activities. 1. Choir Girls perform at the Christmas Concert. 2. The Choir Club. 3. Skiers take to the slopes f there was ever a year to have a Ski Club, 1982 was it. Snow capped mountains enabled the newly established organizaiton to attend many field trips. They sold See’s Suckers to raise money for their five day Ski trip to Mammoth. They also went to Gtah during Easter vacation with Artesia High School. They once again went to Mammoth during Memorial weekend. The Ski club kept themselves busy throughout the year skiing down the slopes. 1. The ski club chaperones. Mr. Bisogno — advisor. Maharlica means royal blood aharlica began its second year as Ma club at Cerritos High with much enthusiasm. During Spirit Week, they participated in the Toilet Paper Wrap. They were very cheerful during Christmas time when the various members went caroling to get into the spirit. They sponsored a car •wash along with a Beef Jerky sale to raise money for the Club. This money was used for an exciting camping trip to Big Bear. The Club also awarded a $200 scholarship to a senior who contributed the most to the Club. With the great efforts of President Vedasto Samonte and Advisor Ms. Pendleton, the Maharlica Club broke through to have an extremely successful and funfilled year. 1.
