A.S.B. does it with a motion word greatly describing the ASB Cabinet was hard working. They were very successful during the year, as President Gentry R. Humphrey displayed his excellent leadership qualities to help the rest of the members break through and organize various activities. These activities and events made school very interesting and great fun. Homecoming. Spirit Week. Almost Anything Went and The Nominating Convention were great successes along with Era Week. The ASB Cabinet urged all clubs to be involved with the Sadie Hawkins Dance with many clubs sponsoring a different booth at the dance. The Activities Director. Mr. Dennis McReynolds supported the Cabinet throughout the year and helped make it one of the most enjoyable years for the students of CHS. 1. Advisor — Mr. McReynolds. 2. Fundraisers, activities and, Acting und raisers and spirit activities were on the top of the list for Thespian Troupe 2080 this year. They broke through with such things as a cheese sale and paper products sale. Ironically, their main goal was to raise money for the Drama Department productions, even though they have nothing to do with the actual department. They also participated in the Spirit Week Volleyball Tournament, won the Mini Spirit Week Gahr Balloon Sit, and sponsored the very successful Balloon Toss. They were lead by officers Tim Thorn, President; Scott Harrison. Vice-President; Laura Lawson, Secretary; Tracy Rebun, Treasurer; Scott Fix, Seargent-at arms; Victor Wirt, Historian; and Mrs. Sue Thornberry, advisor. At the end of the year, the troupe held a banquet where awards were given for Honor Thespians, individual achievement and the introduction of the new officers for 1982-83.
