Kathy Kim Han-mi takes first! ne of the newest clubs on campus was Han-Mi, formerly known as Moo Koong Wha and the Korean Club. Their advisor. Mr. Kwon. helped start the club on to a very successful year. They prided themselves on doing exceptionally well in the Spirit Week Volleyball Tournament. This year's Han-Mi Club placed first above all others. The club then went on to participate in the L.A. County Volleyball Tournament. During Christmas time, they spread their Christmas spirit by caroling around town. President David Kim organized a roller skating party and several picnics for the club. Portuguese club does it again nee again, the Portuguese Club Owas formed at Cerritos High. They had various fund raisers such as a car wash and a bake sale to pay --------i—l for a picnic and a trip to Magic -------1—J Mountain. One of the ac- complishments of the Portuguese club was winning second place in the volleyball tournament during Spirit Week. They also participated in the basketball tournament.
