Freshmen begin to adjust he Class of '85 thought that high school life was exciting and full of fun. but what they didn't know was that to have fun at Cerritos High you can not be a member of the freshmen class. When they first stepped foot on Cerritos High they were full of look at that”, who's he”, check him out , check her out , where is E l. B-4. P-2, K l , who's Mrs. Skaggs. Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Painton, Mrs. Joynt. After the 1st and 2nd week passed they thought that the traditional freshmen being thrown into trash cans was just a scare. As the 3rd week followed, however, the freshmen found out that the tradition wasn't just a scare, but a reality. But that didn't seem to stop the determined freshmen class who went on io show strong spirit at the pep rallys, games, and other school functions which lead them to a pretty good start in school spirit points. They had a very successful candy sale, and a variety of fund raisers around school as well as around the community. With the guidence of Mrs. Grasso and Cynthia Azarcon (Class President) and the dedication that the freshmen class had, they are sure to shine at Cerritos High in their final years.
