TALENT SHOW This year the United Together Club put on their 3rd Annual Talent Show. The Talent Show was offered to anyone who wanted to participate, but had to audition first. The talent ranged from singers and dancers to those doing Tae Kwan-an-do. 1. Kelly Todd. Cheryl Byone and Kaylene Peoples doing their dance routine. 2. I hope there's a talent scout ouVthere watching me. thinks Kym Horn. 3. Don Clinton — Hmm. what should I do next? 4. Steve Carter displays his guitarist ability. 5. Tont Lopez — Another young rock star?! 6. Oh dear, they said it would be just like rehearsals, thinks Sha-nita Marble. 7. Next please. says Rochon Staples. 8. Tommy Kou concentrates on his violin playing. 9. A couple of guys getting some practice of Tae Kwan-an-do. 10. Anthony King and friend showing each other the latest dance steps

CL OC o: Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime we'll take the best forget the rest and someday we'll find These are the Best of Times. Yes for us Seniors and Juniors the 1980-81 Prom was the Best Of Times, that will never be forgotten. The Prom was held at Disneyland Hotel in the Magnolia Ballroom from 8:30-12:30. The music was played by Fyuzken. As students entered the room they voted for Prom Queen and King and pictures were also taken by Sanford Studios. Then they looked for friends to sit and chat with or somewhere where they can be alone with their dates. Around 12:00 the announcement of Prom Queen and King was held. The winners were: Prom Queen: SHARI GREENE. Prom King: DEREK FOSTER. The time finally came to leave. Everyone went their own way for the rest of the evening well really morning. 4 1. SHARI GREENE receiving her flowers. 2. DEREK FOSTER slow dances with SHARI GREENE. 3. BRENDA VAN-DENGOUSH and MIKE SIMMS. 4. RENE EMERSON looking surprised. 25
