The 1980-81 Girl's Varsity Track Team did extremely well this year. Miss Jackson, the girl's coach said she really enjoyed coaching the girls and that they all worked hard. At the end of the season, the long hours of practice paid off. The girls ended their track season with a 4-3 record. The 440 relay team was undefeated throughout the season. Outstanding sprinters on the team were Charron Orr and Cathy Roberts. This year's track team qualfied the most athletes in their league to go to CIF finals. It is expected that next year the girls will do just as well. 1. Cathy Robers manages to stay ahead with Artesia opponent close behind. 2. Pam Crawely says. “You better believe we are number one! 3.
