VARSITY SOFTBALL Wait Till Next Year!!! The Varsity Softball team finished their season with a 6-8 record. It was a young team with only two seniors. Eleven of the girls will be returning next year. Leading this years Varsity Tennis team were ?=1 singles Steve Defazio, =2 Tae Nam, 3 Keith Higginbotham, and «4 James Kim. Leading for the doubles were 1 Kirk Iwami and Rodney Bradshaw, and 2 Fred Rodriguez and Ernie Sanchez. The team had a team record of 14 wins and 7 losses and a league record of 10 wins and 4 losses. Takinq 3rd place in league the team was able to go to CIF. Even though they lost their first round to a tough La Quinta, with a score of 4Vz to 24' 2 they gave it everything they had and shouldn’t be disappointed in the least. 1.
