12 1980-81 Spirit Week came to an end with the annual Homecoming Game. As tradition, the five finalists were escorted by their fathers down the field. All received yellow roses. Silence and darkness filled the stadium as Miss Bevela Rushing was announced Homecoming Queen 1980. Her court consisted of Sherri Greene, Becky Jones, Lisa Smith, Jennifer Vander Linden. 1. Sherri Greene escorted by her father. 2. Five finals and their escorts. 3. Friends congratulate Bevella. 4. Bevella and proud father.

Masquerade Ball Masquerade Ball, theme for the 1980 Homecoming dance. Homecoming is a tradition as is the dance. This year it was a costume Party because the game was held on Halloween, the night before. Many showed their spirit by dressing in costumes. Events held were Apple bobbing, witches brew, long sandwiches, and carnations were also sold. That brought Homecoming '80 to an end. 1.
