Glace Will We, the Senior Class of nineteen hundred fifty-four being of sound health and low mentality do here by and here upon will and bequeth our worn out and worthless possessions. To our dear old Ceres High School we leave all our squirt guns, paper wads and rubber bands. To the Faculty we leave, at last, a peace of mind. To the Junior Class we leave our name of Brilliant Seniors . We hope they will be as brilliant as we. To the Sophomores we leave our social hour in mornine study period. To the Freshman we leave our ability to check out library books, as well as our ability to keep them out fora period of three months. As individuals we leave the following: Dare Neel leaves her prissy ways to Mae Handcock. Gladys Umbarger wills her basket-ball ability and personality to Shirley Groseclose, Betty Jane Crabtree leaves her love and ability for math and algebra to Lewis Umbarger hoping he will do better next year. Nichelas Tibbs wills his baskgt—ball ability to Johnnie Clemons hoping Johnnie will make the player he did. Josephine Thompson leaves her size to Ima Jean Crerger. Denald Ray Ingram leaves his quiet way to Arnold Compton. Nancy Cregger leaves Donald Umbarger to June Ellen Atwell, hoping June Ellen will have more sucess holdine him than she has had. Harry Dillman wills his interest in Bland and Bastian to larry Neel. Sue Lindamood leaves her flirty ways to Velma Shupe hopinr Velma will get as many boy friends as she did. Jimmie Smith leaves his ability to arcue with the teachers to J.C. Dillow. Ruth Lambert leaves her love and knowledge of Enselish to D onald Umbarger hoping he will use it to save his future English teachers many headaches.
