LLL LAL | , WS Sw = SS Jundors History Of 1942 Permit us, as Juniors of this year to give some account of our pasb two years of high school, our fortunes and hopese in the fall of 1939 we entered Ceres High School, very proud of our past acco- mplishments in school work, but more eager than ever to step into the rank as seniors. At that time Selma Bogle, Gwendolyn Burke, Alda Cox, Eleanor Crabtree, Ruth Groseclose, Helen Hanshew, Gladys Harden, Vivian Harner, Doneld Groseclose, Eula Mae Neel, Trula Ne- el, Anna Wayne Tibbs, Erma Tibbs, Naomi Un- barger, Pauline Umbarger, Thelma Williams, Alvin Crabtree, and Billy Hubble composed our fair sized roll. We regret, hewever, that at the end of our freshman year we lost a few members, namely: Anna Wayne T bbs, Pauline Umbarger, Thelma Williams, and Trula Neele To repay us for loss, we gained in our Sophomore year another step toward our cher- ished goal and a new membrer, Ida Groseclose. Almost before we realized it we were Juniors welcoming another class member} Yorke Hubble. Senior year is just ahead of us now and during it and the years coming after may we still be under the American flag and Govern- hent, always striving for what is right and faire ZZ SS SSS. ZAZA.
