Here's one for you.The new silk factory to be built in Ceres by Contractors Repass and Atwell will get all of its lumber from the Durham Lun- ber Company of Poor Valley. Those names’ sound familiar. Oh yes, Gladys Kidd, Harvey Durham, Orville Repass, and Leon Atwell; part of the graduating class of '41.My,they're going places. Here's a picture of the model farmer of Vir- ginia and would you believe it, it's Watson Bruce. Oh yes,he owns that big experimental farm in Ceres. The New York Giants plan an exhibition game in Ceres. Don Cooper shows home towners how to make a home run as well as pitch a good game. The Beeretary seers Kidd, states, Mr. and Mrs. Ohmer Wadde and Loewe of Maryland return to Ceres to live. Mrs. Waddell, the former Irma- lene Young was a member of the graduating class or ‘di, Miss Groseclose to address Home Economics class of Ceres. She was a member of the faculty of Emory and Henry College. She was also a mem- per of the graduating class of '4l. It seems that the faculty, Mr. Mitchell, Mr. Branscome, Mr. Rutrough, and Miss Jones and all other teachers have done their part in helping these students in selecting their careers.
