The Bowling team had an exceptional year with the Girls Varsity taking third place with a 185-115 season record. The Boys Varsity took first place in the league with a 24-6 record. They went on to state for the third year in a row and took seventh place of all AAA teams and first place of AA teams. There they beat the number 2 team, lVlark lVlorris of the Clark- Cowlitz League, 6-3 to advance into District play where they were eliminated. Injuries to two key pitchers, Jeff Spencer and Powell, and catcher-lead hitter Hultberg, may have kept the Tigers out ofthe State playoffs for the first time since their beginning. Nlarc Roberts, IVlike Smith, and Nlyhr led the team in RB1's with 15 each. Nlyhr had 17 stolen bases. Inspirational Award winner for 1976 was IVlarc Roberts.
